Our latest installation of solar PV and battery storage in Brighouse, West Yorkshire hasn’t been without its problems. Demand for solar PV is on the increase but unfortunately there is a very real material shortage leading to long lead in times and customers having to wait for inverters and and batteries to be installed.

Our customer has been waiting while for us to start this solar PV and Battery storage system in Brighouse. With the fairly mild summer and the weather on our side we re-roofed the property and installed the solar PV panels. With delays in inverters and batteries reaching the UK, these will be installed at a later date.

Gone are the bulky, ugly panels of some 10 years ago. These Viridian Clearline Fusion in-roof panels are definitely easy on the eye!

I looked for a professional company to repair my stone roof which had 2 serious leaks causing internal damage. I expected it to be a tricky job due to poorly installed insulation 20 years ago which was sprayed directly onto the stone. What a relief to hear Chris say that he had seen this before and knew how to deal with it. Kieran and Joe who undertook the work were simply outstanding. I highly commend them for their craftsmanship and their work ethic. In the roasting heatwave, they worked relentlessly (more than 10 hours per day). Cheerful young men who were a pleasure to have around. They kept me informed and updated every step of the way and were willing to answer every question I had. They found the source of both leaks and repaired the damage, restoring my roof to better than it was before. They cleaned up after themselves and ensured that everything was right before they left. What a relief to have found this company. Truly, a good professional team. Talented and responsive to any questions I had. I had Adam and his colleague take care of my re-roof. What a trooper he is. On time every single day. Never once bothered me. Just cracked on and did an excellent job that has got my neighbours admiring his work. I had a full bath stone slate roof turn and repair plus a thermal blanket installed as my bedroom was open up to the eves. This really warmed up my bedroom and the roof problems I had been having stopped immediately. The lads who did the jib were brilliant and the were finished within 2 days. This included taking down the scaffolding and organising the skips to be picked up. I was really impressed and I recommend this company to all my friends. I would definitely use them again

The project was to remove and renew the weather membrane and replace the stone tiles to my roof. No easy task as the property is over 400 hundred years old. The company gave me the time to explain the stages throughout the project and it was dealt with in a very professional manner throughout. Chris attended site many times to explain the process and make sure we were happy. We had restricted access to the rear and this again proved no problem for Chris and his team. I had looked for a suitable contractor for a long time, so long in fact it took me two years to find Green & Heritage who gave me the faith that I was happy to proceed.
