This property in Baildon recently benefited from the installation of a new Equinox solid tiled conservatory roof replacement. Having an existing polycarbonate roof, the room was too hot in summer and too cold to use in the winter months. Listened to our concerns and worked hard to accommodate them, was able to source other trades for required preliminary (non-roofing) works (which I had been unable to do).  The personnel on site gave excellent customer care - informing us of progress & issues, were very thoughtful, respected the building type and style, took a lot of care and worked very hard and very well together. Work done included re-roofing with existing solar panels. Extremely happy with this company and would highly recommend. Very responsive to all my questions before the works and they are very knowledgeable about their profession. I was very pleased to find them as it is very difficult to find roofers with solar experience. All work completed to high standard and the guys on the job were very courteous/polite/tidy/punctual. Team manged to fit in a renovation for a sandstone roof. The guys worked hard through challenging weather conditions and kept the place waterproof throughout. We cannot praise Green and Heritage enough they and their staff are top notch ultra reliable and highly skilled in what they do.Just had an Equinox roof fitted on our conservatory and remedial work done on the kitchen extension roof.The lads who did the work Kieran and Dylan were always on time conscious and tidy

Before work began

We used an Equinox system is an aluminium, structurally engineered, lightweight system which totally replaces the existing roof panels. Our customer chose Tapco roof tiles in pewter grey to complement and blend in with the main building.

After installing the lightweight Tapco tiles, we internally insulated the conservatory to ensure it conforms with current Part L building regulations.

The installation of modern, energy-efficient, LED lighting updated the interior and we skim plaster finished the internal ceiling ready for the customer to decorate.

Insulating our customer from higher energy bills

It’s estimated that a solid tiled conservatory roof is up 15 times better at keeping heat in than an old polycarbonate or glass alternative. The highly efficient Equinox conservatory roof system we use is among the most effective on the market as it has a u-value of just 0.15. That’s around 10 times more energy efficient than an A-rated double-glazed window!
