Case Study
This property in Slaithwaite, Huddersfield required a re-roof to a solar panelled roof. The rear elevation was in need of re-roofing, however there were 16 solar pv panels already installed on this side of the roof. The existing solar pv panels were to be removed and stored for reinstallation at a later date, which wasn’t a problem for our highly experienced team.
After stripping and disposing of the existing tiles, new felt and battens were installed. New concrete tiles replaced the old ones and new verge units were installed. The ridge tiles were all re-bedded in Flexim Roof Putty, giving a neat finish which is fully compliant with current building regulations.
Once all the roofing work had been completed, the solar PV panels were reinstated, recommissioned and left in full working order for the customer.
"Chris and the team were a pleasure to deal with throughout. They did a re-roof for us which involved removing solar panels and the reinstating them one the new tiles were on - not a single hitch, we were both delighted and impressed. They also did a flat roof section for us. Once they started they arranged everything including the scaffolding, the skip and even window cleaning at the end of the job! I would recommend them without hesitation."
